Brighton is a prestigious beachside suburb of Melbourne roughly 11kms south east of the CBD. Covering over an 8km radius, some pockets of Brighton vary from others. The Melbourne Metro train stations split Brighton into Brighton Beach, Middle Brighton, North Brighton and Gardenvale. It’s comprised of multiple shopping strips, cafes and restaurants, cinemas, top public and private schools, sporting fields and parks as well as beaches.

Attracting thousands of visitors a year, Box 85 on Dendy foreshore — an iconic, picture postcard location — sold in December for $326,000.

 

The abundance of beaches and parks in leafy Brighton means that locals are not short of areas to walk the dog, host picnics, or play a game of cricket.
